Summary:
To provide plumbing services in a variety of residential and light commercial applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesfor Plumbing Service Tech:
- Conduct daily safety briefings
- Maintain safe working conditions at all times
- Maintain condition, functionality anduse of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times
- Assembleseveral different types of piping usingfittings,clamps, cement,glue,soldering, brazing or welding equipment
- Install, or repair, drain lines, water lines, gas lines and air lines
- Install piping of several types, fittings, valves, appliances suchasdishwashers,water heaters,fixtures such asfaucets,sinks,toilets,and urinalsusing hand or power toolsand equipment
- Keep records of work assignmentsand notes pertainingto jobs
- Install new, maintain,or repair plumbing, including clearing clogged sewer lines, use camera on sewer lines and other technology
- Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections,and or, destinations
- Measure, cut,and or thread pipe
