The Electronics Final Assembler assembles finished products using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners according to specifications. This is accomplished by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):Receiving diagrams, drawings, specifications, and instructions either verbally or in writing prior to assemblyAssembling electronic assemblies by soldering, testing, and replacing components, circuit Modules, and similar electronic devicesAssembling components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies per specificationsReading, filling out, and completing work orders accuratelyBuilding products as designed and not changing them without proper approvalUsing basic hand tools (screwdriver, wire cutter, wire stripper, wire crimper, cordless screwdrivers, soldering iron, wrenches, solder pump, and so forth)Frequently working with other tradespersons such as engineers, maintenance, and so onMaintaining a clean and orderly work areaStarting up and shutting down equipment in line with OSHA requirements and company safety procedures for equipment under powerRecognizing and adhering to the proper PPE and safety guidelines established by Pitsco and OSHAUtilizing testing equipment on all components/products for quality controlQualifications/Requirements:High school diplomaFamiliar with basic hand tools Familiar with basic soldering techniques Demonstrated electronic abilityBasic knowledge of computer operationsConscientious, detail-oriented worker who is self-motivatedHigh mental and visual effort requiredMust have good work historyAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation including ability to walk, balance, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, and stoop
