Summary: The Early Learning Channel Manager is directly responsible for developing, promoting, and growing the early-learning product range for Pitsco. This is done by building and supporting a sales strategy that seeks to grow channel opportunities, increase revenue, and create awareness for Pitsco within the market. This position will also work closely with the Marketing team on the creation of catalogs and support materials. This position serves as Sales’ primary point of contact with our early-learning product suppliers to ensure that the proper information is being disseminated, questions are being answered, challenges are being resolved, and all functions of the organizations are working together. These tasks are accomplished by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties might be assigned):

· Developing sales strategy for our market, aligned with the overall business target

· Building new partnerships and strategic alliances with national early-learning organizations

· Building customer trust and fostering a customer-centric culture

· Meeting or exceeding revenue and business targets while executing a sales strategy in accordance with Pitsco Education sales processes

· Driving account planning and account management excellence in collaboration with the Pitsco team

· Managing and forecasting the product assortment within Pitsco’s sales pipeline

· Participating in product strategy sessions to define future development needs and then driving the execution of the development process for the products

· Supporting Pitsco’s Direct Sales team with professional development and opportunity support

· Reporting weekly and monthly sales to management


+ College degree with a minimum five years of sales experience

+ Education industry knowledge with an emphasis in early learning

+ Proven sales success with channel management in the EDU or childcare sector

+ Experience with a CRM system preferred

+ Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal

+ Self-motivated worker with excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks

+ Personal leadership and professional skills

+ Ability to work in a team environment

+ Ability to travel 30% to 40% of the time required

+ Current and valid driver’s license

+ Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

+ Ability to be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation including ability to walk, balance, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, and stoop
