POSITION SUMMARY\ The Casino Shift Manager provides direct supervision of all table games during assigned shift. Enforces all internal control procedures games procedures and policies as outlined in department and company manuals and in accordance with Internal Controls. Monitors for compliance. The Casino Shift Manager is responsible to foster an environment that rewards Team Members for providing Hometown Hospitality and delivering Fun.\ \ GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES\ The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this class and are not all- inclusive.\ \ 1.Responsible for controlling labor costs through proper forecasting and scheduling of staff. Adjusts daily work force based upon business needs.\ \ 2.Reports shift activity on a daily basis and coordinates with other shifts, including customer activity and play, game drop, and any unusual activity.\ \ 3.Assists in monitoring table payouts to ensure proper amount are being paid to guests.\ \ 4.Recommends changes to game spread / mix and staffing.\ \ 5.Maintains game security and protects company assets at all times.\ \ 6.Assists in staff selection, training, recognition, separation of employment, and other human resources related issues. Focuses on the core values of Fun, Friendly and Community.\ \ 7.Complete understanding and adherence to Team Member policies including, but not limited to, coaching and counseling staff and the use of progressive discipline to modify performance.\ \ 8.Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.\ \ 9.Effective communicator to ensure that consistent, accurate and timely information is provided to all shifts.\ \ 10.Effectively handles customer concerns and requests.\ \ \ 11.Addresses and manages complaints, or concerns from Team Members.\ \ 12.Utilizes effective communication tools to ensure that consistent, accurate and timely information is provided through the shifts.\ \ 13.Ensures that staff behavior and appearance are in compliance with established standards.\ \ 14.Maintains complete confidentiality of all company information at all times.\ \ 15.Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.\ \ 16.Performs other duties as may be assigned by department and/or company management.

COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES\ In addition to the other duties described herein, each and every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:\ \ Attend required training sessions offered by the casino.\ Obtain required license(s).\ Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.\ Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.\ Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Members department.\ Have knowledge of the Propertys programs to address problem gambling.\ Consult with the appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with the state regulations and Systems of Internal Controls.\ Take the appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to the appropriate levels of management.\ Report any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any Team Member that they have knowledge of.
