The ideal candidate for the Customer Support Specialist role will be customer centric and will be responsible for handling complex and escalated customer issues that may require advanced troubleshooting and in-depth knowledge of Pitsco products and services. This position works closely with first-tier customer support and Sales and Development teams to ensure timely resolutions and excellent customer satisfaction. This role interacts with customers through a variety of communication mediums and settings and should be tech savvy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Interacting with customers politely and professionally via incoming and outgoing phone calls, email, chat (text and video), face-to-face communication, and other channels as assigned
  • Supporting all components of the ordering process including order entry, return process, shipment, and post-purchase support
  • Communicating status updates surrounding active inquiries to both the customer and internal stakeholders
  • Analyzing information received from the customer and exercising independent problem-solving to deliver successful resolutions
  • Inputting and maintaining detailed information within various software and systems
  • Continually obtaining and retaining product knowledge to support customer needs
  • Preparing various information and reports as requested
  • Assisting in various departmental projects as requested
  • Reporting challenges, concerns, issues, and suggestions to appropriate personnel

Qualifications/Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelors or some college is preferred

Previous customer service desk experience is preferred but not required

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
