Descriptive Summary

This position is responsible for Commercial Food Equipment sales and initial servicing of DoughXpress manufacturer representatives, distributors, and customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Involvement in the development of sales forecasting activities and setting performance goals accordingly. This included monthly goal setting.
  • Reviews market analysis to assist in the determination of customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Know the products features, benefits & application, the industry, and the competitors.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Representative Groups, Distributors/Dealers, and key accounts.
  • Compiles continually updates lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from industry publications, trade shows, internet sites, and other sources.
  • Displays or demonstrates product when necessary.
  • Handles incoming food related phone calls excluding calls pertaining to process, application, and sales.
  • Quotes prices enter and process order from PO and follow up on production, shipping, accounting, and payment of sales.
  • Work with customer/tech services and marketing to keep account activities and literature up to date.
  • Represent company at trade shows.
  • Initiate distribution of product literature reviews all needed literature updates and website needs.
  • Continually research industry trends to identify additional product line needs.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and area of proposed client base.
  • Conduct monthly updates of activity and set monthly goals.
  • Follow industry/markets thoroughly to ensure Dough Xpress is moving in the right direction with the right products and services to meet evolving customer needs before the competition.
  • Assist CFE customer service.
  • Daily contribution as a team member is expected with regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Other duties as assigned.
