Olathe Medical Center Patient Access Representative in Paola, Kansas

Position Description: The Patient Access Representative is responsible for completion of front office tasks ensuring smooth and efficient patient flow and quality customer service. Tasks include greeting patients, verifying and updating patient information, scheduling and cancelling patient appointments, completing appointment reminder calls, answering phone, routing phone calls, collecting account copays and outstanding account balances, balancing of collected payments, reconciliation of appointments, and filing/scanning/copying documents and/or forms.

Position Requirements: Education: High school or GED required.

Experience: Prior healthcare experience preferred.

Skills: Strong ability to multi-task/prioritize, organizational, customer service, communication, computer skills (Microsoft Office) skills required. Medical terminology preferred.
