Job Overview\ The Field Appraiser I is responsible for gathering and recording data about real property to assist in building the real property file. Uses judgement to classify and code structures and land based on statutory requirements. Follows prescribed policies and procedures. Works under general supervision.
Responsibilities
- Collect and data enter property data from the field.
- Conduct informal appeals.
- Final valuation of real estate values.
- All other duties as assigned by the County Appraiser.
