Talent Acquisition Specialist

Nature of Work

Provides corporate recruiting services for MMC Corp andsubsidiaries. Serves as key member of collegerecruiting function and also experience recruiting efforts. Focuses onidentification, selection, hiring and on-boarding of employees.

EssentialDuties and Responsibilities

+ Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives. Scheduling of campus recruiting events and coordinating logistics.

+ Attend recruiting events to represent company and identify and attract candidates for intern and entry level roles.

+ Conduct interviews in person and over the phone to screen candidates for cultural and technical fit.

+ Schedule interviews for hiring managers and prepare candidates with company information and interview expectations.

+ Manage Applicant Tracking System and job postings. Monitor and screen candidate submissions in system. Ensure job descriptions and employer branding are current in system.

+ Assist with social media efforts as they relate to employer branding. Collaborate with corporate marketing department to ensure best in class practices.

+ Utilize personal creativity and competitor knowledge to generate ideas for recruiting collateral, give away items, company recruiting presentations, etc..

+ Create offer letters, facilitate background tests, schedule pre-employment drug screens, and complete paperwork as necessary during hiring process.

+ Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization.


This job has no supervisoryresponsibilities.

A minimum of aBachelor's degree from a four-year college/university.


0-2 years ormore of related work experience preferred


Responsible forown work only; some direct or indirect control over expenses and revenuegeneration; may make some budgetary recommendations; accountable for results ofown work.


Utilizes judgment in selecting,interpreting and adapting guidelines. Applies learning to achieve answers indiffering situations. Make knowledgeable recommendations that may reflectoriginal thought.


Requires travel -an average of 30%. F all and Spring months have heavier travel requirements toattend college recruiting events.


Physical demandsfor this position are light. Typically the employee may sit comfortably to dothe work. However, there may be walking, standing, bending or carrying of items(10-25 pounds) such as papers, books, small parts, etc. May require lifting up to 50 pounds duringtravel for college recruiting.


The work environment involves everydayrisks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of suchplaces as offices, meeting and training rooms, residences, commercial vehicles,or outdoors, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidanceof trips and falls and observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc.
