Sirius Computer Solutions Sr. Consultant - Power Platform & SharePoint in Overland Park, Kansas

Position Summary:

This position has primary responsibility for the development and delivery of solutions to our customers in the areas of Office 365, namely SharePoint Online and Teams online solutions. Experience and expertise in development of solutions utilizing MSFT Power Platform development is a firm requirement. This role can be based from most US cities, with the ability to work from home when not at client sites.

As a secondary responsibility, this position also assists with the pre-sales and definition of multiple customer projects, utilizing a wide range of experience and applying skills to a variety of industries and situations. This opportunity is best for individuals who are eager to share their knowledge and experience as it relates not just to technical capabilities, but to how Office 365’s Messaging, Collaboration, and Social Business solutions can address real customer needs.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide solution design, development and delivery of Office 365 SharePoint and Teams solutions.

  • Provide migration planning and assistance from various collaboration platforms utilizing hybrid configurations, 3rd party tools and/or Microsoft On Boarding Services

  • Provide support to field sales for Software and Services opportunities in the area of Office 365

  • Collaborate with client (Line of Business, IT) and Sirius team to identify high level business requirements and map to solution capabilities.

  • Create work effort estimates to support Statement of Work creation, and present/effectively communicate proposals to client.

  • Leads code or other technical reviews and presents constructive feedback to technical team

  • Participates in requirements gathering activities, examining the entire business application and/or systems design from the aspects of the workflow and the end user

  • Builds focused relationships with clients to identify business challenges

  • Makes recommendations to solve client problems

  • Directly interacts with clients, sales team, managers and other technical team members to identify, develop, and obtain complete information for solutions including hardware, software and services, and scope statement and level of effort

  • Documents completed technical work forclients

  • Maintains technical specifications throughout aproject

  • Contributes and develops best practices, strategies, methodologies and documentation/templates suitable for reuse by other Consultants and Analysts

  • Achieves high level of Client Satisfaction on all consulting engagements by executing to achieve client project expectations

  • Develops strong client relationships and trust to secure future business

  • Reviews and understands all assigned Statement of Work (SOW) obligations prior to services delivery

  • Maintains accountability to work estimates and project financials

  • Provides technical perspective to ensure a realistic estimation of scope, cost and level of effort for proposal generation

  • Serves as a point of contact to the client for technical issues and status

  • Mentors less senior personnel and serves as escalation point for their technical related project issues

  • As needed, steps into team leadership roles and empowers others to increase contribution and level of responsibility

  • Complies with all timecompliance and time entry guidelines

  • Meets billable utilizationtargets

  • Training/Certifications - Engages in professional development, including obtaining industry related certificationsas directed by management, to maintain continued growth in professional skills and knowledge

  • Administrative Overhead – Respond to email, phone calls, complete time cardsin a timely manner, expense reports and status reports as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field

  • At least five (5) years of experience designing and building SharePoint online solutions, to include:

  • At least 2 years of work experience as a Senior Developer utilizing Power Platform.

  • Experience in Nintex and .net development.

  • Experience supporting both SharePoint on-premise and online environments of at least 500 users

Other Position Requirements:

  • Experience as SharePoint administrator/developer or in a related role

  • Experience architecting, building, and troubleshooting on-premise SharePoint farms, Workflow Manager installations, and Office Web App installations.

  • Experience with on-premise SharePoint upgrades and migrations, including from SharePoint on-premise to SharePoint online

  • Experience building applications with SharePoint Online Power Apps and Power Automate and integrating with SharePoint

  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, collaboration solutions and workflow automation

  • Demonstrated experience developing solutions in Office 365

  • Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership and collaborate with Line of Business personnel, IT, and other stakeholders to determine needs

  • Demonstrated experience contributing to an overarching solution strategy by identifying how a proposed architecture, capabilities and functionality support the client’s business objectives

  • Demonstrated ability to architect large projects from pre-sales Discovery to Solution Outline

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a wide variety of client and Sirius team members, including management and technical staff

  • Demonstrated ability to investigate complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in- depth evaluation of variable factors from multiple IT solutions and/or disciplines

  • Demonstrated understanding of core business functions of a typical company, and ability to employ step by step logic to solve business problems

  • Experience as a member of a technical project team, from design through delivery

  • Experience troubleshooting and identifying potential problems and making appropriate changes as necessary

  • Experience creating technical documentation

  • Demonstrated ability to work with wide variety of client staff including management and technicalstaff

  • Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and leadership to less experienced technical team members, including delegating technical tasks, and at times resolving issues of poor technical execution without escalation

  • Demonstrated presentation and communication skills, including effectively communicating one-on-one, and in small and large groups, using a variety of presentation methods to sustain the audiences’ engagement

  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Demonstrated ability to establish positive working relationships and conduct complex and important work critical to the organization in a team consulting environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Azure experience

  • C## development experience

  • InTune experience

  • Integration of Salesforce and SharePoint Online

  • Consulting experience, especially in an agency or global systems integrator environment

  • Certifications in relevant areas of specialty
