Job Summary

Performs analysis of business processes and data that pertain to business issues. Provides reporting solutions and data metric analysis that may identify business trends and results. Utilizes data analysis to explain business issues and financial implications, recommend workflow improvements, or enable business unit to improve workflow processes. Works with various business units to accomplish objectives. Performs research and influences the strategy for the most complex reporting and analyses of information in reports. Serves as a project leader or project manager and has significant interaction outside of the work group.

This position will focus on business analysis to support Sprint's Device Protection business. The scope of responsibilities will include:

  • Work with Device Protection leadership team and other key stakeholders to identify strategic initiatives to support program growth and create analysis to measure & support existing strategic initiatives

  • Provide ongoing analysis of key insurance trends related to take rate, churn and penetration of the insurance program

  • Provide leadership to all field-level reporting, ensuring that the data is accurate, timely, and consistent

  • Ensure various reporting systems are accurately representing Device Protection data

  • Produce high quality reporting solutions through Microstrategy application

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school

  • Three years reporting experience

  • Three years data analysis experience

  • Two years experience leading processes and teams

Preferred Qualifications

•Ability to read and write basic SQL statements, including joins and case statement logic in various syntax

•Experience with analytics toolsets (SQL, Hadoop, Alteryx, Microstrategy)

•Report building and automation with Microsoft Excel, Microstrategy, and Alteryx

•Understanding of Sprint’s internal database/systems including RISE, BMW, NDW, OMIM, PeopleSoft, etc.
