Quality Technology Services, LLC Senior IT Auditor in Overland Park, Kansas

QTS Audit Services is expanding our audit function and we’re seeking bright and engaging candidates to support our company’s rapid growth in the data center, cloud and managed technology services industry. The Senior IT Auditor is based at QTS’ headquarters in Overland Park, KS, traveling domestically up to 25% to QTS data center locations as required. The ideal candidate will have Sarbanes Oxley and IT Auditing experience . The candidate should understand and have experience with all applicable IT Audit areas of focus including, but not limited to Access Management, Change Management, Job Processing and Computer Operations, System Development, Automated/Application control reliance, Report testing, and a good knowledge of infromation technology environments such as relationship of domains, applications, database, and servers. The candidate should also have experience coordinating with financial and business leadership to integrate IT controls with business processes and be able to articulate the relationshipbetween operations and IT.

RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned.

  • Scoping planned Audit Services engagements.

  • Developing engagement notification and information requests.

  • Coordinating and confirming engagement travel, space, and meeting plans.

  • Managing project deliverables and communicating status.

  • Preparing and conducting interviews of process owners and stakeholders.

  • Reviewing and/or documenting processes via narratives and/or flowcharts.

  • Identifying key business risks and related mitigating controls.

  • Reviewing and/or performing testing of key controls via inquiry, observations, evidence review, and re-performance, and transaction data analysis.

  • Reviewing and/or completing testing work paper documentation.

  • Developing internal control and/or process improvement recommendations.

  • Communicating internal control and compliance findings.

  • Assisting in the development of final engagement reporting

  • Developing new data analaytics and/or other IT powered audit techniques such as machine learning or “Bot” enabled testing procedures

  • Assisting in the execution of other compliance audits (ISO, FISMA, HITRUST, SOC Reports, and PCI)

  • Overseeing performance of or creation of QTS business process documentation, risk and control identification, controls testing, and data analysis in support of improving QTS’ IToperations, controls, and attainment of compliance objectives

  • Assisting other audit team members with operational or compliance audit objectives as needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required.

  • Two or more years of performing ITaudits, preferrably within acapital intensive and/or technology industry.

  • Two or more years Sarbanes Oxley ITGC auditing and/or internal operations IT or Compliance auditing experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five or more years of performing IT audits

  • Five or more years of assurance and advisory services experience with a nationally recognized accounting firm or internal audit function.

  • Five or more years of data center operations, Sarbanes Oxley auditing and/or IT/Compliance auditing.

  • Attainment of Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

  • Experience with Workday, Salesforce, Active Directory and/or industry releveant building management, environmental and security montitoring systems

  • Experience with Data Analytics tools and procedures

  • Knowledge of industry relveant Compliance Standards including SOC1 and SOC2, ISO 27001, HITRUST, PCI and FISMA

  • Ability to systematically review and document business and information technology processes and procedures. Familiarity and comfort with data analysis tools and procedures.

  • Understands how businesses work, dedicated and passionate about understanding the company’s operations, markets, customer needs, and competition.

  • Creates clear and concise messaging on status, findings and recommendations.
