Responsibilities

THE POSITION

The Senior Analyst will be responsible for providing technical and business analytical skills to drive our customer analytics & performance reporting, with a focus on enabling our Community Network optimization. Specifically, you will be responsible for identifying “top performers” in our network, to manage network performance through key performance indicators, and using data to identify opportunities to improve how our senior living network performs. Key aspects of this work will include: defining performance benchmarks for senior leadership, assessing senior living community and organization performance to identify potential opportunities for A Place for Mom to improve our conversion, and informing and building go-forward analytics tools in Tableau that will support and enable our teams to scale successfully.

You are passionate and data-driven. You have strong problem solving capabilities and are always learning and looking to apply new tools or insights to your analysis. You have a proven history of using data to structure analysis, test hypotheses, and drive business outcomes by focusing on the most relevant metrics. You don't mind rolling up your sleeves to do what it takes to come up with new solutions or ways for solving a problem at hand. And, you are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across an organization and can communicate your results clearly and succinctly.

What you will do:

  • Manage metric-based business outcomes for Community Network, and associated reporting & analytics, that drive both financial performance as well as customer experience outcomes through effective benchmarking, KPI scorecards, and other related performance analytics

  • Create custom queries, through development of deep proficiency in APFM customer data, to inform reporting & analytics

  • Build automated reports that include prioritized stakeholder specification, with an eye toward scalability & efficiency

  • Present, interpret and clearly explain business results to stakeholders across our organization

  • Advise stakeholders on data requirements and abilities to ensure stakeholders are focused on highest priority areas that will drive outcomes for our business

  • Prioritize projects and requests and clearly communicate timeline expectations to various stakeholders

  • Incorporate our Values into each family, customer, and co-worker interaction

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • 2+ years of analytical experience with technical (e.g., query proficiency, report building) and business reporting (e.g., KPI metric or benchmark building) proficiency

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience using business intelligence platform(s), preferably with Tableau experience

  • Outcome-oriented – thrives at translating target outcomes into measurable actions & reports, including presenting in PowerPoint, if needed

  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization, including the C-Suite

  • Bachelor Degree
