You Are:

A Test Automation Engineering Manager, with a future-focused mindset, who provides technical leadership and strategic direction. You help transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity . You evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. You also excel with FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect) and Chaos Engineering.

The Work: The Test Automation Engineering Manager drives quality in our solutions and provides deep expertise in planning, constructing and executing test scripts. They demonstrate the ability to cope with growing complexity and creativity in design by thinking outside the box to determine the best way a test can be performed. Applying both business and functional knowledge, they develop end-to-end testing strategies a through the use of quality processes and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical discussions with client team

  • Strategized & Steer the performance engineering for client across domains

  • Provide strategy and technological solutioning to proposals, Delivery Interventions . should have Performance Testing Environment Setup & Calibration experience

  • Leading Point of Contact for clients.

  • Recommend and lead continuous improvement initiatives that will help mature the QA test program to improve team effectiveness and overall quality of products and services

  • Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the teams overall test objectives.

  • Evaluate and review potential risks and issues that may adversely affect quality, schedule or budget

    Aligning technology with business strategy and goals the Test Automation Engineering Manager works directly with the client gathering requirements to analyze, design and/or implement technology best practice business changes. They are sought out as experts internally and externally for their deep functional or industry expertise, domain knowledge, or offering expertise. They enhance Accenture's marketplace reputation.

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Here's What You'll Need Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Test Automation including planning, script development & maintenanceMinimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in the following:

  • Performance Engineering & Resilience, Resilient Design Patterns

  • Analytical skills into performance & resilience across applications across environments

  • Should have architected performance tests, resilience tests by fault injection, developed performance engineering framework

  • Experience in Performance testing using various tools

  • Must have knowledge of any observability & monitoring tools

  • Must have knowledge in any one application monitoring tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics or New Relic

  • Knowledge on Chaos tools (Gremlin/Chaos Toolkit)

Bonus Points IfYou have Cloud certification (Azure/AWS/GCP) | Observability/Monitoring Tool

You have understanding of Microservices (Containers, Kubernetes, Docker, EKS)

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $88,600 -$139,399 and information on benefits offered is here.
