You Are:
Accenture is seeking a Procurement Operations Solution Architect Senior Manager - Supply Chain to play a pivotal role in designing and implementing complex solutions that optimize supply chain operations for our clients. You will collaborate closely with our strategic partners and internal teams to deliver customized BPO solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. This position is a critical client-facing role that interprets and translates client requirements into a solution that can be configured from a standard set of offerings. The Solution Architecture Senior Manager operates as a single point of contact or as part of a team (on large deals with multiple SAs) accountable to the SA SPOC from Stage 1 to deal closure and the transition to the delivery organization(s).
The Work:
Architect end-to-end solutions for large-scale supply chain BPO deals, with a focus on planning, forecasting, order management, inventory optimization, and other key supply chain areas. Knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management, tail spend management and contracting is a plus.
Manage all Operating Group, senior client buyer and functional owner relationships for the designated solution
Drive the necessary sign-off of the solution with proper input from the Operating Groups on client business objectives, industry, risk assessment, budget and preferences
Manage the sales team, Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) required during the sales process and the communication/ collaboration with the delivery organization(s)
Direct and coordinate with Legal & Commercial and Corporate Transaction Services (CTS) in areas specific to the solution to ensure use of standards
Collaborate with the Operating Groups to provide input to Terms and Conditions and in some cases accountable for specific contractual terms and conditions
Identify leadership contacts for service transition and operations and ensure appropriate solution plan transition for closed deals
Interface with the delivery organizations to ensure effective transition, shape services, collaborate on clear solution assumptions, determine appropriate service delivery locations and related cost to deliver
Orchestrate the action points coming out of the opportunity Quality Assurance process
Understand and translate buyer requirements into a standard solution offering deal approach, solution plan, proposal and cost estimate leveraging standard process methods, deliverables and the right collection of offerings
Prepare the BD spend estimate, schedule, work plan, resource/sourcing plan
Understand and clearly define the input required to create cost estimates; Preparing the cost model estimates working with delivery organization(s), Solution Management (if applicable) and CTS to deliver the defined scope of services
Collaborate as a key member of the sales team to represent the solution offering to the client buyer and other internal Accenture groups
Align final solution architecture (including statement of work, schedules and other contractual documents) with final terms and conditions
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to supply chain management and BPO, particularly in planning, forecasting, order management, and inventory optimization.
Here’s What You Need:
Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Consultant, or similar role within the supply chain, procurement or BPO domain, with hands-on experience in planning, forecasting, order management, and inventory optimization
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement As-A-Service
Minimum of 2 years' experience in business development, sales strategy, and/or proposal development roles
Minimum of 2 years' experience with Outsourcing, Solution Planning/Deal Shaping
Bonus Points:
Advanced degree
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
Advanced expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with Negotiate to Close
Value Proposition Development
Solution Configuration, with understanding of trends in shared services and outsourcing methodology
Business Case Development
Exposure to Service Transition methodology
Knowledge of industry-leading technologies and tools
Knowledge of automation and AI trends in the marketplace
Travel Requirements:
This position may require travel of up to 50% to customer locations.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
