Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a TL Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Leads and acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.

Your mission is to work with Oracle s premier ISV partners to migrate their Intellectual Property (IP) to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and to develop their next generation SaaS offerings on OCI. You will collaborate with internal business development strategists and several other internal OCI teams including Product Management and Development to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address the partner s business problems and accelerate the adoption of OCI services. In collaboration with ISV Ecosystem Sales, you will drive Cloud consumption across a broad set of ISV partners and help them accelerate adoption of OCI s IaaS and PaaS services e.g. Compute, Storage, Database as a Service.
The ISV Ecosystem Solution Engineering team is the sales engineering team supporting ISV partner business within Oracle. This organization is focused on ISVs that currently deploy products, applications & solutions in the cloud and/or on-premises at customer, partner or Oracle locations.
Responsibilities & Qualification
In partnership with the sales team, you will execute on the technical sales strategy toward consumption objectives through the adoption of Oracle Cloud.
As a trusted partner advocate, you will help ISVs understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the Cloud.
Work with top ISV partners to help shape and execute a strategy to develop their next gen SaaS offerings on Oracle Cloud.
As a key member of the ISV Sales team, ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the Oracle Cloud platform.
Educate ISV partners on the value proposition of Oracle Cloud and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful cloud deployments.
Conduct how to training sessions to transfer knowledge to ISV partners considering or already using Oracle Cloud.
Act as a technical liaison between ISV partners, service engineering teams and Oracle support.
Leverage leadership skills to support the Sales Team in closing deals with ISV Partners.
Develop deep expertise in the Oracle Cloud technology offerings as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the Oracle Cloud platform.
Lead efforts to share best-practices amongst the Oracle Cloud community.
Help lead and generate excitement and usage of Oracle Cloud services across various ISV partners segments.

Experience building SaaS applications and/or PaaS cloud services on a public cloud platform e.g.,* Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud.*
Experience migrating IP from on-premises to the cloud and/or experience architecting and developing a next generation SaaS offering
Experience migrating or architecting microservices cloud solutions and/or containers or has built green-field cloud native applications
Ability to map enterprise architectures through solution and technical architectures that deliver expected business benefits and prove to be resilient in the face of changing business requirements
Strong executive speaking and presentation skills - Formal presentations, white boarding, large and small group presentations
Have owned or been involved in the platform choices and decisions for the on-premises to Cloud journey
Technical and customer-facing skills enabling you to be the technical interface between Oracle Cloud teams and end customers
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certification HIGHLY PREFERRED
Public Cloud Certifications HIGHLY PREFERRED
LAN/WAN, large-scale distributed enterprise application deployment experience HIGHLY PREFERRED
