Kelly Services Network Technician in Overland Park, Kansas

Build your future Kelly Services! We are seeking a talented Network Technician for an exciting 6-month project with a top mobile company in Overland Park, KS.

In this role the NE will:

  • Monitor, tests and analyzes network and network facilities (e.g., power, communication machinery, software, lines, modems, and terminals).

  • You will advise supervisory Network Control positions of network communications failures or degradation and arranges corrective action plans.

  • Create and route network tickets to appropriate designated fix agents the first time.

  • Perform ticket management and escalations to drive problems to final resolution.

  • You will use combination of various tools to correlate multiple faults and/or system presented data into singular network impairments

Skills and Experience required:

  • Experience analyzing wireless networks, related equipment and/or performance

  • Experience using networks and network equipment.

  • Knowledge of Excel, Word and other general applications.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Must have the ability to work any shift

Nice to Haves:

  • Knowledge of ALU, Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, VoIP, VoWIFI and VoLTE wireless network structure

  • Knowledge of Unix operating system and command structure

  • Basic knowledge of IP routing and protocols

  • Tools/Systems: Netcool, SAMS, SecureCRT
