Introduction to the team
The National Tax team plays an instrumental role in the achievement of firm tax practice goals, particularly as it relates to tax practice innovation and technology, collaborating with tax leaders and team members from across the firm and the National Office functional teams, including IT, Learning & Development, and our Transformation Office, to directly impact our tax practice.

Execute change management functions related to the deployment of tax software programs
Manage existing tax practice technologies
Collaborate with others to identify and develop opportunities for tax process improvement
Collaborate with software development team to develop tax software programs
Manage projects that support firm tax practice initiatives
Collaborate with technical specialists to facilitate development and delivery of tax technical training and project tools and resources
Evaluate implications of new tax law changes, including regulatory and administrative guidance
Conduct technical research and communicate findings as appropriate
Develop internal tax practice communications, training, and intranet content
Serve as a resource on tax practice policies and respond to office inquiries
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in accounting or a related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years tax professional experience
CPA or Bar License required
Strong interest in emerging technologies and their use in tax-related processes
Advanced skills in technology-based applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Web-based tax research software, and internet applications)
Experience in Azure DevOps preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to articulate complex issues to others
Strong organizational and project management skills; able to effectively prioritize assignments and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Self-directed professional with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%
