We are seeking a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
The Medical Office Specialist provides clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care.
Manages all front office functions including patient relations
Handle patient check-in and check-out
Schedules procedures and office visits
Handles inbound/outbound phone calls
Manages filing and retrieving medical records and patient information ·
Ensure patient charts, paperwork and reports are completed in an accurate and timely manner
Assist with collecting and recording co-pays including balancing the day in the computer
Retrieve medical records by following chart-out procedures; documenting reasons charts cannot be retrieved for statistical and follow-up purposes
