YRC Freight Manager Digital Marketing in Overland Park, Kansas

JOB SUMMARY

Oversees the digital marketing & communication strategies as well as the execution of these strategies for YRC Worldwide and all of its operating companies (Holland, New Penn, Reddaway, YRC Freight, and HNRY Logistics).

This role will help market our brands through multiple digital techniques to support Marketing and growing our brands, driving qualified leads to sales, and elevating our social media and online presence/perception.

Responsible for strategy, tactics, process improvement, new product and service offerings, CRM and project management as it applies to the Digital Marketing and Communications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Oversee all website strategies including user interface and experiences across public facing websites, customer portals and employee intranets.

  2. Work closely with IT on eBusiness functionality.

  3. Manage digital channels Search Engine Optimizations, Paid media, and paid social.

  4. Oversee content experts/digital designers (both internal and with outside partners).

  5. Responsible for Digital campaign strategies including integrated ad planning, audience research, digital media plans and creative development that will work in conjunction with traditional advertising initiatives.

  6. Thorough understanding of digital technologies and practices.

  7. Manage online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness.

  8. Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data.

  9. Evaluate and implement marketing automation systems and oversee integration with CRM, CMS and e-Business infrastructure.

  10. Proficient in digital analytics and Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Social distribution tools and various other tools to support digital marketing initiatives.

  11. Have a thorough understanding of Transportation and Supply Chain business models and how digital marketing analytics can assist in growing as well as retaining business.

  12. Track conversion rates and making improvements to the website.

  13. Develop KPI from analytics for digital efforts.

  14. Develop and oversee the social media strategy across YRCW.

  15. Responsible for content strategies, content management systems, digital amplification and timelines associated with these efforts.

  16. Responsible for working with writers to implement content and do some minor writing as needed.

  17. Responsible for Marketing automation strategy and implementation.

  18. Responsible for Direct Digital Marketing strategies and execution by utilizing a range of techniques including paid search & SEO as it applies to specific campaign and recruitment needs.

  19. Responsible for Competitor Research, SEO ranking, Paid media strategies, social channels and analytics.

  20. Responsible for developing strategy to drive targeted traffic to the company websites.

  21. Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns.

  22. Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.

  23. Develop and implement Marketing specific CRM Strategies and tactics as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT or Visual Communications with a digital emphasis.

  2. Minimum Seven (7) years experience in digital marketing in corporate or agency setting with experience managing internal employees and external partners.

  3. Thorough understanding of the digital landscape for both marketing needs of an organization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Proficient in Google analytics, Google AdWords, Excel, digital advertising techniques and processes and a variety of tools to manage content and social publishing is important.

The position requires the ability to spend long hours sitting or standing while using office equipment and computers. Ability to perform repetitive tasks, such as typing and keying. Occasional lifting, pushing/pulling, carrying 10 lbs. of supplies and materials is required.
