We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Internal Communications Manager on our team!

Take your strategic communication planning expertise, proven experience in the support of Clinical leadership, and strong message development skills to the next level in a national healthcare setting!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Internal Communications Manager will plan, prepare, and support all forms of communication for executive leaders in the clinical organization. This will include supporting several of the clinical service lines by developing and executing a strategic communication plan in support of business goals.

  • Ghostwrite emails, blogs, presentations and articles on behalf of senior leaders

  • Develop and maintain critical content in the company’s intranet site for the clinical organization

  • Lead and support various clinical town hall meetings and events

  • Assist clinical support leadership by advising and consulting on communication opportunities

  • Serve as an essential partner to the business

  • Read and abide by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs

  • Report any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company

  • Obtain clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department to do so

There will be no direct report/management responsibilities in this role.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Understanding of AP writing style.

  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects or work assignments.

  • Proven ability to lead and/or interact with senior leaders of a Company in a communication capacity.

  • Prior experience in an integrated health care setting or healthcare related field is highly preferred.

  • Able to travel up to 10% nationally as needed.

  • Must be comfortable in a work-from-home environment.

  • Must meet company basic standards for working remotely.

Education/Experience

  • Degree from a four-year accredited College or University in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.

  • 7+ years' experience in a business communications role that included regular interaction with senior leaders.

  • Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint.

  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience is a plus.
