What we’re looking for

The Inside Sales Representative reports to the Inside Sales Manager and also receives direction from the Head of Sales. This role provides analysis of retail sales and is responsible for improving sales at underperforming retail stores. This will involve warm outbound calls to our customers (retail outlets) to determine needs and performance gaps in the sale of our credit instruments.

The right candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong team orientation, while being able to diligently work independently. Moreover, the candidate should have a strong capability to build relationships quickly, embrace the phone, and be highly organized. In addition, the incumbent will be heavily relied upon to communicate sales needs to Field Sales Managers and help to develop the right training or sales plan per location. This is an ideal opportunity for an up and coming sales professional.

A day in the life…

  • Analyzes performance of credit card enrollments at retail outlets in a defined territory

  • Conducts phone consultations to educate store managers on strategies for best use of credit cards to improve sales

  • Determines training needs for store associates and assists in developing presentations and training content

  • Develops relationships with retail leadership and continuously provides guidance on best practices

  • Implement action plans for low performing stores that will result in increased usage

  • Partner with Field Sales Managers to meet goals for assigned territory

  • Tracks sales metrics and develops comprehensive reports

  • Ensures Quality Assurance standards are met as set forth by the organization

  • Performs other duties as assigned

You’ll own this if you have…

  • Two years of inside sales experience performing outbound calls or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Prior experience working in or selling to retail establishments

  • High comfort level with extensive use of the telephone and sitting for long periods

  • A strong customer orientation

  • A think outside-of-the-box mentality

  • Highly organized who is highly organized

  • Prior experience with a CRM like Salesforce

  • Strong familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
