Oracle Global Sales Readiness Development Manager in Overland Park, Kansas

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.

CEGBU Global Sales Readiness Manager

Description

CEGBU Global Enablement is seeking a talented and experienced Sr. Program Manager on the Sales Development team to develop and drive world-class tools and content and deliver product and solution mentoring for Sales, SCs, and other revenue influencers.

This person will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional mentoring and support activity to internal customers, prospective clients and partners while ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on training and mentoring teams dealing with large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions.

Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding CEGBU presentations and demonstrations. Can lead any and all aspects of the technical sales process by example or via shared knowledge in various modalities. Develops sales training content to be delivered to our partners and is able to discern internal as well as externally focused sales enablement content. Global reach. Advises internal and external stake holders and partners on overall CEGBU solutions and executes strategy of Best Practices for Sales Performance.

They will set priorities and handle multiple projects with tight deadlines with light direction.

Performance Objectives

You must be able to:

Think Big about scaling learning programs that scale across global sites with clear performance and success metrics

Drive people, process, and curriculum initiatives to optimize the Learner’s experience

Define requirements and launch curricula programs to support performance improvement

Work cross-functionally and across geographies with stakeholders at all levels to drive awareness and adoption of best practices and to support large-scale transformational programs and initiatives

Plan and manage multiple parallel projects

Drive product/program quality improvements based on user feedback and core Learner performance measurements

Analyze the data to determine next steps

Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and focus on Learner experience

Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints

Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders and senior management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

7 years of consulting and / or program management experience handling multiple projects simultaneously

Proven experience facilitating large cross-functional teams in business operations Demonstrated experience with mentoring / improvement for sales enablement, content and tools development programs

Bachelor's degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, Master’s Degree preferred

PMP Certification a plus

Excellent team player

Must be comfortable in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and able to manage multiple priorities well

Self-driven and ability to be both strategic and execution oriented

Strong knowledge of program, process, and change management techniques; structured approaches to problem solving, decision-making, and business strategy Strong oral and written communication skills

Familiar with the Construction and Engineering industry

Familiar with creative development tools like VideoScribe, Vyond, Captivate and others

Experience working in a Sales, Sales Consulting and / or technology implementations

Experience with Partner Development a plus
