Job Title: EHR Council Administrator – Community Data Integration
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as an EHR Council Administrator.
Provide program support to CMIO leadership including project management and technical reviews.
Lead scheduling, planning, logistics, facilitation and documentation for Council leadership.
Assist in reviewing IPAs, MOUs, preparing documents for review by EHRM and VA Leaders.
Monitor status of all requests and assist leadership in coordinating information with other pillars within EHRM.
Support other areas of the CMIO pillar as needed.
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 10 years of experience. An additional 8 years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
Experience managing Information Technology related projects.
Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies.
Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress.
Experience in meeting facilitation.
Experience working with stakeholders on complex issues.
Experience with Health Information Exchange (HIE) and data exchange platforms.
Must be able to identify and mitigate risks.
At least 3 years of interoperability or data integration experience Bachelors degree in Healthcare, Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related scientific/technical discipline.
Experience with implementing Electronic Health Records systems (Cerner preferred)
