Principal Client Relationship Consultant - Group Benefits in Overland Park, Kansas
As a Client Relationship Consultant, you will partner closely with our Sales team and top-level Broker partners to:
Deliver upon a strategic relationship plan that includes quarterly/annual goals
Provide expert renewal analysis
Outstanding service and selling of new lines of business
This opportunity plays a meaningful role in delivering profitable revenue growth of an assigned block of in-force group business by developing and implementing customized strategies. This will be done through strategy discussions with the sales representatives and brokers.
In addition, individuals in this role will be seen as industry specialists and consultants in group benefits in general.
Bachelors degree or equivalent plus 4+ years related experience (group benefits and/or account management experience preferred).
Ability to acquire and maintain all required state licenses within 90 days. Active life/health license preferred.
Must have excellent persuasion, interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, presentation, listening, and oral/written communication skills, as well as analytical skills.
Advanced math skills required with basic skills related to graphs, symbols, equations, etc.
Intermediate digital literacy and knowledge of business unit applications preferred.
Maintain accuracy while being detail oriented.
Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
May spend a minimum of 40% of time out of the office in face-to-face contact with customers and brokers. Some travel to include overnight stays.
