The Opportunity
The Automation Developer will be part of the B&V Business Optimization Team (BOT) which is a key function of the B&V Digital Office/Enablement. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with internal corporate business customers, IT support functions (Applications, Infrastructure, Security) and internal delivery teams for the design and delivery of stable and efficient Intelligent Optimization and Automation solutions. #LI-NK1 #LI-Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and review business requirements and process documentation in detail
Collaborate with BOT Business Analyst(s) and business stakeholders to determine the automation technical design or requirement clarification for the use case
Implement IA solutions that incorporate technologies across RPA, process orchestration and a combination of other hyper-automation technologies including AI/ML, Document understanding, process/task mining, NLG/NLP, PowerApps, PowerAutomate
Operate within the enterprise standards and conventions while following agile principles
Evangelize and drive the adoption of best practices around design, development, security and performance for IA solutions
Maintain and enhance existing RPA solutions, continuously improve code quality, increase robot efficiency by utilizing latest/advanced features
Deploy robots by following the standard change management process
R&D/keep current on the latest RPA technology and skills, such as new UiPath features, AI integration into RPA, Intelligent Automation packages/content, etc. and leverage in automation project development
Support and engage in the operational oversight of automations in-production including maintenance of the automation software and infrastructure, monitoring bot status, diagnosing issues, and developing error handling process/procedure/mechanisms
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
4-6 years experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an engineering or programming background (equivalent experience) and 4+ years of demonstrated experience. Candidates should have documented use cases, solutions built/delivered, etc.
3+ year experience in UiPath platform/technologies
Proficient knowledge in HTML, VBA, Python, OpenCV, .NET, etc.; experience with developing or implementing machine learning models and AI component is a plus.
Basic understanding of technologies such as Process/Task Mining, Computer vision, concepts like Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and services like Google AI services or Azure AI Services (as examples).
Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze requirements and recommend/design potential solutions in a timely manner
Experience with Agile methodologies and use of DevOps with an understanding of and a willingness to adhere to formal change control procedures and disciplines
Foundational knowledge in IT Service Management (ITSM) principles such as Incident, Problem, Change and Service Request Management processes and tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Databases (SQL or NoSQL)
Certified in UiPath (Mandatory)
Desired Experience
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing IA/AI solutions with a combination of RPA, PowerAutomate, PowerApps, ML, and other hyper-automation technology stacks
Manage change, ambiguity and complexity with ease
Experience working in Engineering and Construction industry
Strong interpersonal, presentation, written communication and facilitation skills
Able to prioritize and work on multiple projects concurrently and efficiently
Knowledge/experience with 2 or more automation technology focus areas such as Robotic Process Automation, BPM/Service Orchestration, AI/ML, Process Mining, NLG/NLP, API based automations, PowerApps and PowerAutomate
Able to articulate user experience and design principles to team members
