As an Accountant , you will perform moderately complex accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resultant managerial reports and financial statements. Assist in profit and loss research during monthly closings. Reconciles various G&L accounts. Works under moderate supervision.
Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare routine and non-routine entries to G&L accounts
Analyzes routine and non-routine account analysis detailing assets, liabilities, and capital
Coordinates monthly uploading of journal entries to the Accounting Financial systems
Reconciles and prepares accounting schedules on a monthly/quarter/annual basis
Participates in P&L research
Performs sales, transfers, and retirement of assets on the subsidiary ledger and the general ledger
Tracks shared assets on the computer as needed
Codes and copies invoices for the Accounts Payable Department
Adheres to and participates in Company’s mandatory HIPAA privacy program/practices and Business Ethics and Compliance programs/practices
Participates in implementing/maintaining operational processes to ensure compliance to Company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory mandates
Bachelors / Associates degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of two to four years general accounting experience required for general knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
Must have excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills
Must have excellent analytical and computer abilities
Must read, write and speak fluent English
Must have good and regular attendance
This role requires full COVID-19 vaccination
