Primary Location : US-KS-Overland Park

Shift : Day


Manage assigned account relationships when Account Executives exit the Company/market and ensure seamless service and attention to clients. Work with sales leadership, sales support, and the client to maintain and increase business levels while addressing client’s current business needs. Update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and ensure the portfolio base of clientele is satisfied with YRCW services.


  1. Maintain key account relationships within assigned territories during the transition period when Account Executives exit the market.

  2. Update and maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with current account information including potential paid revenue, operational info, and account services potential.

  3. Provide a warm handoff between the clients and newly onboarded Account Executives to ensure a smooth, seamless transition and enhanced client experience.

  4. Utilize internal resources to assist and ensure successful transition of new business into YRCW.

  1. High School diploma or equivalent.

  2. Four (4) years demonstrated successful sales and/or sales support experience.

  3. Demonstrated oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  4. Proven relationship building and negotiation skills.

  5. Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.

  6. Ability to work with minimal supervision.


  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and work experience.


This position operates in a professional office indoors environment. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Required to travel between terminal sites and customer locations.


The position requires the ability to spend long hours sitting or standing while using office equipment and computers. Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and keying. Occasional lifting, pushing/pulling, carrying 10 lbs of supplies and materials is required.
