Grade 27, $42,632 ($46,946 at one year)

Job duties : This is a supervisory position of the Cashier’s Department which requires experience and working knowledge of the JIMS system and the functions of the Clerk of the Court office, as well as leadership and management abilities. The successful applicant will be responsible and accountable for all funds held by the court. He or she will work closely with the Clerk of the Court, the Courts, JIMS, the Office of Judicial Administration, and other external agencies. Duties include supervision of department staff, receipting payments for all case types and third-party vendors, daily balancing, pay outs and working closely with the Bookkeeping Department.

Required education and experience: Graduation from high school and two years clerical and/or accounting experience.

Preferred qualifications: This position requires attention to detail, accuracy, and strong written and oral communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team are required. Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations is important. The successful candidate must have a proven ability to interact with both clients and stakeholders in a professional manner, be a successful trainer, able to motivate staff, and possess the ability to update and maintain written and practical procedures as needed or required.
