Honeywell Technician - Test - Level 2 in Olathe, Kansas

This position is in Olathe, KS. The technician should be well versed with test applications and theory. Must be able to follow detailed instructions consistently and interpret blueprints/drawings. Training for this position would be conducted on first shift to start.
Responsibilities:
Under moderate supervision technician is responsible for performing tasks related to electro-mechanical, mechanical, and electronic function testing on sensors and intricate navigational instruments.
Follows defined procedures and processes for testing navigational devices utilizing test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, frequency generators, and multi-meters.
Maintain all required documentation and records accurately and in a timely manner.
Initiates action to prevent/correct product/process non-conformity.
Additional duties to include but not limited to pre-testing and post testing mechanical assembly operations such as fill and leak checks, instrument clean-up, etc.
Supports Honeywell Operating System (HOS) activities by recommending and implementing Continuous
Attend and actively participate in daily Tier meetings.
Maintains work areas and tools according to Visual Management and 5S Standards.
Follows all prescribed Health, Safety and Environmental rules and regulations.
Must be able to work overtime including weekends to meet customer schedule demands.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
You Must Have:
Due to Government regulations, U.S. Citizenship is required.
High School Diploma or GED.
1 years of electronic experience
Experience interpreting blueprints
We Value:
Minimum 2 years of experience working in an electro-mechanical or electronic production test environment (i.e. using test components such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, frequency generators, and multi-meters)
Associates degree in electronics field preferred.
Basic computer skills with ability to navigate internet and MS office.
Intermediate math skills
Able to work and communicate well with others.
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced aerospace production environment.
Knowledge and demonstrated adherence to 5-S principles
