Garmin Senior Leader - Global Information Security in Olathe, Kansas

While we promise you a lot of responsibility, you also will have the opportunity to have ownership over projects…oh, and we promise you there will be some fun mixed in there, too!\n\n\nWe are looking for a full-time Senior Leader to create and execute Garmin’s Information Security programs including leading global alignment to the strategies, policies, and practices of the program. Other essential functions include:\n\n\n\tAccountable for effective establishment and pragmatic execution of Garmin’s Cyber Security strategies.\n\tEnsures global alignment to Garmin’s Cyber Security strategies, policies and practices across all geographic locations and functional departments. \n\tBuilds and fosters strong business relationships with partners across Garmin’s global footprint.\n\tMonitors compliance to Garmin’s Cyber Security polices / processes, assesses associated risk and aligns closely with partners across the business on relevant remediation plans.\n\tDirects Garmin’s Cyber Awareness campaigns to educate associates on Garmin’s Cyber Security program and their relevant accountabilities to Garmin’s Cyber Security policies and procedures.\n\tDirects Garmin’s Incident Response program. \n\tDirects Cyber Security investigations, by working closely with partners from across Garmin’s business and with relevant authorities.\n Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems or another substantially similar field. Other requirements include: \n\n\n\tMinimum of 10 years work experience in an Information Technology role, with substantial experience in Cyber Security \n\tCISSP Certification\n\tDemonstrated expertise managing Cyber Security resources, technologies, and suppliers.\n\tMinimum of 5 years successfully leading people and teams.\n\tDemonstrated experience successfully developing and implementing Cyber Security practices, policies, and procedures spanning IT and the business.\n\tDemonstrated experience successfully coordinating teams and multiple projects is preferred\n\t \n\n\nDesirable qualifications include:\n\n\n\tCertification(s) specializing in Security disciplines, such as: GSEC, CISA, CISM\n\tKnowledge of infrastructure, application, development and data security – which may also include certifications in technical disciplines, such as: MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP\n\tKnowledge and experience of information security technologies and vendors (firewalls, intrusion prevention, vulnerability assessment/management, web and application development, security event monitoring)\n\tExperience with creating or auditing Cyber Security programs\n\tExperience in developing, designing, or managing Global teams. \n\n\nGarmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
