AIG Senior Analyst, Claims Analytics in Olathe, Kansas
About the role
As a member of the Claims Analytics team, your role will span AIG’s global reach while learning all lines of business. You will help us build from the ground floor, designing metrics and reports for all levels of the Claims organization. Those analytics will then be converted and used for analytic insights for Actuarial, Underwriting and Product. Looking forward, we will advance into trending, forecasting and analytic modeling. What you need to know:
Lead conversations with business stakeholders to define gaps in operational metrics and partnering with the data team to document reporting requirements
Point of contact for business to identify and implement business rules/processes to maintain data quality
Research and document reporting flows of information
Act as a business contact to address reporting, data and/or mapping questions
Perform user acceptance testing for new reports
Performs other duties as assigned or requested
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s Degree with computer science, technology, mathematics, or related field preferred
5+ years in an analytic, reporting or related role
Intermediate knowledge of SQL and/or Python
Intermediate knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau or other data visualization tools
Analytical, decision making and problem-solving abilities
Working knowledge of data management and governance processes and procedures
Ability to manage multiple deliverables
