Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team, working with heavy industrial products and operating a variety of machinery including a plasma cutting machine and CNC laser. This role requires training on the first shift for at least one week, with the option to work either first shift (6 AM to 3:30 PM) or second shift (4 PM to 12:30 AM). The successful candidate will upload metal materials into the machinery and oversee its operation.

Hard Skills

  • General fabrication skills

  • 1 year of laser cutting experience

  • Ability to operate industrial bandsaw and CNC laser

  • Experience in handling heavy materials (50+ lbs)

Soft Skills

  • Ability to adapt to different machinery

  • Openness to shift work

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 540 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in OLATHE, Kansas.

Work Environment

The work environment is within a fabrication shop, focusing on machine operation rather than direct fabrication. Safety gear such as hoods or gloves is not required as the role does not involve welding or direct physical fabricating.
