If you’re ready to work – and have fun, too – come, help us put the pieces together!We are seeking a Reverse Logistics Technician for our headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. In this role you will apply electronic theory, electrical testing procedures and related knowledge to repair, maintain and setup refurbishment processes for returned product. Other essential functions include:Using knowledge of electronic theory, electronic test equipment and computers, setup processes to test, reset, update and restock new and used consumer productDiscuss layout and assembly problems with management to clarify problems encountered while remanufacturing productRecommend changes in remanufacturing process to improve efficiency, maintenance, test method or product performanceUpdate and amend the Reverse Logistics SharePoint site to keep up ever changing processesAnalyze and interpret test dataPrepare and setup software/test equipment for major rework projectsAdjust, calibrate, align and modify process set up and test equipment that affect remanufacturingEstablish software and test proceduresTeam with Reverse Logistics Supervisors, Planning and Industrial Engineering to provide direction within the Rework areasTeam with Taiwan to ensure that the Reverse Logistics area is using the correct programs Qualified candidates will possess an Associate of Arts degree in Electronics, Engineering, Computer Science or substantially similar field OR completion of a minimum of 80 hours towards a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Technology or substantially related field OR 5 years’ experience performing a role substantially similar to this role’s essential functions. Other requirements include: Demonstrated proficiency using Personal Computers and their operating systemsDemonstrated proficiency using one of more of the following programs: Visual Basic, DOS, Access, MySQLDemonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, experience with SharePoint DesignerDemonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsMust demonstrate proficient mechanical aptitude with a strong attention to detailMust be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with othersAbility to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment with the goal of improving efficiency while maintaining qualityMust possess the ability to lift up to 25 pounds to effectively perform the essential functions of this job descriptionMust be able to stand, sit, and/or twist for extended periods of time Candidates with previous software programming experience with HTML, JavaScript, PHP - Server-Size Scripting language are preferred.
