Our process engineers not only improve production methods ? layout, lean production flow, tooling/product equipment, material, fabrication, etc. ? they also determine space requirements to ensure efficiency in manufacturing processes in the industrial plant. We are looking for a full-time Process Engineer for our Board Assembly team at our headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. In this role you will be responsible for utilizing software to create basic fixtures and developing process instructions and create routings. Other essential functions include:

Attends DFT training and demonstrates understanding of Lean Philosophy

Gains knowledge of and demonstrates understanding of ECO implementation

Identifies and resolves defects of basic scope using proper engineering tools and techniques

Participate in Design Reviews with senior members of the process engineering team

n

+ n

Communicates status of work clearly providing visibility to supervisor or mentor

+ n

May be responsible for planning own technical work

Applies design standards and procedures to complete well defined basic tasks and/or projects
