Olathe Medical Center Physical Therapist - Inpatient/Outpatient (PRN) in Olathe, Kansas
We welcome you to join the Olathe Medical Center Physical Therapy department team as a Physical Therapist (Inpatient/Outpatient) . The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and implements specific treatment programs for individual inpatients and outpatients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy. The Physical Therapist collaborates with the members of the interdisciplinary care team regarding treatment and discharge planning; prepares written documentation pertaining to patient evaluation, treatment, education, and discharge planning; schedules patient treatments and meetings; supervises the work of Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA's), Rehabilitation Aides, Student Physical Therapists, and Student Physical Therapist Assistants; assists in preparing and conducting inservice training and continuing education programs; assists in the orientation and competency assessment of Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, and Rehabilitation Aides; may participate in Performance Improvement activities and processes.
4 Year / Bachelors Degree Accredited PT Education Program Minimum
Other: Passed national licensure exam. Minimum
Previous Healthcare Experience Preferred
Physical Therapist Licensure in the state of Kansas Minimum Upon Hire
Healthcare Provider CPR – (American Heart Association or American Red Cross ONLY) Minimum Upon Hire
Participates in the education of others, including OHSI staff, medical staff, PT/PTA students, Olathe School District 21st Century volunteers/interns, observers, and community groups.
Demonstrates flexibility required to meet changing priorities.
