Olathe Medical Center, Inc, a 300-bed general acute care facility, is currently looking for a Home Healthcare Occupational Therapist - PRN to join our team.
Position Description: The Occupational Therapist evaluates, plans, and implements specific treatment programs for individual inpatients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric according to the principles and practices of Occupational Therapy. The Occupational Therapist collaborates with the members of the interdisciplinary care team regarding treatment and discharge planning; prepares documentation pertaining to patient evaluation, treatment, education, and discharge planning; schedules patient treatments and meetings; supervises the work of Student Occupational Therapists and Student Occupational Therapist Assistants; assists in preparing and conducting in-service training and continuing education programs; may participate in Performance Improvement activities and processes.
Position Requirements: Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree from an Accredited School of OT - Required
Experience: 2 years OT experience - Required Knowledge, Skills: Required: Organizational, verbal communication and assessment skills
Licenses/Certifications: Occupational Therapist Licensure in the state of Kansas - Required Healthcare Provider CPR – (American Heart Association or American Red Cross ONLY) required within 7 days from date of hire
