Honeywell Lead Software Engineer 10K SIGN ON BONUS in Olathe, Kansas

$10,000 SIGN ON BONUS!!!!!

Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software functions for Honeywell Next Generation Avionics within Honeywell. You will be instrumental in designing, planning and coordinating work teams, as well as providing technical support. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities. You will interface and exchange with internal and external customers, vendors and suppliers throughout the life of the project.

YOU MUST HAVE

-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science

-Minimum of 8 years of experience in Avionics software development

WE VALUE

-Understanding DO-178C software development lifecycle

-Significant relevant experience with real-time embedded software development

-Proficiency in C/C++, Python

-Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.

-Experience with Datalink products such as ACARS, ATN, PM-CPDLC.

-Experience with Communication, Navigation, GNSS, or Surveillance radios.

-Diverse and global teaming and collaboration

-Advanced communication skills

-Wide degree of creativity and latitude

-Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work independently, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked or forced to by events.

-Ability to consistently make timely decisions in the face of technical complexity, balancing analysis with bias for action.

-Private or commercial pilot experience.
