The Junior FC Process Analyst is responsible for Warehouse Management System (WMS) configuration, process development/enhancement and tactical support to the operations team to ensure that the WMS and subsystems (i.e. Connectship) deliver the performance and functionality necessary for the operations team to achieve their business objectives. The candidate is a key liaison between Fulfillment Center (FC) management/personnel and technical teams to analyze and evaluate WMS functionality to meet business needs. They are also responsible for ensuring the warehouse business requirements are identified and achieved through proper functional design, while providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
This position will implement new functionality and enhancements of existing applications based on specific business needs. The position will be measured by its effective use of technology and process development to support movement of goods throughout the fulfillment process to reduce costs, increase accuracy and reduce the cycle time to deliver products to our customers.
Support Fulfillment Center (FC) Operations in Driving Increased Efficiencies:
Partner with FC Operations to identify process changes that support business objectives.
Identify, analyze and test WMS configuration and system changes to support new processes, close process gaps and implement process improvements.
Functional Specification Documentation preparation
Coordinate systems changes with IT, vendors or other departments
Support the development of User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans and coordinate UAT testing
Support the development of training procedures and provide training when needed
Ensure consistency across all FC operations
Provide ongoing support:
Troubleshoot issues and identify root causes
Provide site support for FC processes, ad-hoc reporting, progress tracking, and drive issues to resolution
Performs all functions in accordance with IT and 1A business practices and procedures
Serve as WMS business super user in configuration, troubleshooting, future development, and enhancements
Manage continuous process improvement program as it relates to WMS operation
Performs other duties as required.
Travel to remote facilities as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of intellectual instruction and work experience.
Experience in supply chain management, warehousing, and fulfillment.
Experience in configuring and supporting all functional area within the WMS.
Experience with data flows in the supply chain
Experience in employee interaction and change management.
1-2 years’ experience as an Analyst, or operational supervisor/manager in a fulfillment or distribution center.
3-5 years of WMS support and project experience
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, Warehouse Control Systems, Pick-to-light, and other supply chain execution systems.
Experience with WMS
Experience with WMS implementations.
Skill and Ability:
Good organization and follow-up skills.
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office
Punctual, accountable and professional
Strong communication skill set; be able to manage, influence, partner negotiate and deliver presentations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
