Garmin IT Help Desk Analyst 1 in Olathe, Kansas

We are looking for a full-time Helpdesk Analyst for our headquarters in the greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for providing first level of support to end users and acts as a liaison between advanced support and end users. Other essential functions include: Provide first level technical support for inbound support requests Answer the Help Desk phones in a courteous and friendly manner Assist in the resolution of user and support issues among company sites to ensure timely distribution of knowledge and positive impact on user satisfaction Research, resolve, and respond to questions received via telephone calls, e-mail, walk-ups, and callbacks in a timely manner, in accordance with current procedures Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant product offerings and support policies in order to provide technically accurate solutions to customers Maintains records of daily communication transactions, problems, remedial actions taken, and installation activities Works effectively and professionally with other team members, learns from and shares knowledge with others by documenting and contributing to knowledge base Assists associates in IT Specialist 2 role on initiatives and support issues as assigned Qualified candidates possess a High School Diploma or GED and coursework towards completion of a technical degree or a minimum of 2 years IT or technical experience. Other requirements include: \n\n\n\t\n\tOutstanding academics with the demonstrated ability to apply learned knowledge\n\t\n\t\n\tDemonstrates basic familiarity with troubleshooting and research tools\n\t\n\t\n\tDemonstrates basic familiarity with asset, service, monitoring, and documentation tools\n\t\n\t\n\tDemonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a small team setting\n\t\n\t\n\tPrior experience in a help desk capacity with a large company is ideal\n\t\n\n\nGarmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
