Customer Service Representative – Olathe, KS :

Are you a driven problem solver who enjoys helping provide solutions to customers and looking to advance your career with a growing company? If you have prior Customer Service experience and are based in Olathe, Kansas, we’d love to explore having you join our growing team! We are looking for Customer Service Representatives to support our Allegion Home business who will provide exceptional customer service, warranty and technical support, and problem resolutions in order to drive continuous consumer loyalty.

As a member of the Customer Service team, you will be focused on providing solutions to the Schlage Residential customers. The Schlage brand has spent a century unlocking opportunity and as one of the most well-known consumer brands within the residential lock industry will continue opening more than just doors well into the future. In this role, you will provide superior customer service and act as customer advocate, continually improving the level of customer satisfaction. Integrity and a desire to learn about Schlage Residential products are crucial to your success in this role and will provide opportunities for you to grow within Allegion.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 9AM - 6PM CST

What You Will Do:

  • Represent the organization daily though customer contact and relationship-building with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service

  • Communicate directly with customers through multiple channels (phone, e-mail) to identify and resolve a wide variety of issues and inquiries regarding Allegion products and determine next steps in call resolution

  • Identify opportunity for potential warranty replacement

  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to facilitate accurate resolution of customer issues

  • Meet all daily and monthly service level agreements as set by management

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, communication skills

  • Continue to foster a customer centric culture

  • As a Customer Service Rep you can expect to answer approx. 4 calls per hour ; and answer 7-8 emails per hour

What You Will Need to Succeed:


  • 1-3 years Call Center and Customer Service experience

  • High School Diploma

  • Dependable attitude and good attendance

  • Team player mindset, willing to collaborate and share information with teammates

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Nice-to-Have’s, Not Required:

  • General knowledge of locks and how they function

  • Ability to search online resources to include Google and Allegion SharePoint resource center

  • Good keyboard skills demonstrating the ability to type 35 wpm, corrected speed
