Position/Salary and Benefits: Court Services Officer, Grade 34, $23.13 Hour

Job Duties: These positions are responsible for the supervision of caseloads of adult probation offenders. The chosen candidates will be required to complete risk/needs assessments, prepare case plans and affidavits to the Court, complete log notes, and appear/testify in court proceedings. Specific positions open include:
Courthouse Intake - completing initial intakes with clients upon sentencing to probation in addition to maintaining an administrative caseload
Maximum Supervision – supervising clients deemed maximum per the risk/needs assessment and the supervision of sex offenders
Required education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in a social services field is required. Minimum of one year experience in the field of criminal justice is preferred, with preference given to experience relating directly to probation supervision. LS/CMI and WRNA certification and knowledge of evidence-based practices is preferred.
Preferred qualifications : This position requires attention to detail and strong written/oral communication skills. Computer skills required. Ability to work both independently and with a team is required. Ability to maintain calm in stressful situations and multi-task is important.
