Aerotek Assembly Technician in Olathe, Kansas
Description:
Contractors will be at an assembly work station doing small part assembly & soldering on circuit boards. Majority of the position will be sitting down, checking quality and small part assembly/detail. Will be working on different skews of product, Client has SOP's on screens at work stations with how to do the project and how long each should take.

Qualifications
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Assembly Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Mechanical Knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
Requirements:
Soldering experience (preferred)
Manual dexterity for working with small components
Good eyesight including close and distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus
Ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time and perform continuous operations
Flexible to work in other positions on assembly lines as needed (inspection, test, packaging, etc.)
Familiar with component polarities and ability to verify solder and component placement on circuit boards
High school diploma or GED
