We are looking for our next North American Regional Master Planner for Protein Solutions. This position can be base either in New Century, KS or St. Louis, MO location.

Job Requirements

  • Leads the execution process of the SIOP by creating Master Production Schedules on the SKU level and maintaining from month 3 through month 9 rolling for multiple sites and production lines. Master Schedules are in accordance with planning and inventory strategies developed with the Protein Solutions Global Master Planner. RMP utilizes capacity analysis (RCCP/Yield/FPFQY) and customer service policies to govern schedules and finished product inventory plans.

  • RMP is responsible for creating/executing master scheduling time horizons in line with business strategies and polices.

  • Helps to determine IP/GM soy campaign schedule for regional assets and communicates any variances needed to make plan whole by using IP materials for GMO requirements.

  • Specify bulk/semi requirements for plants in region.

  • May be responsible for continuous improvement of the regional master planning process and performance.

  • Develops with the Global Master Planner and DRP planning (Green, Yellow, Blue, and Red) strategies for the different SKUs

  • Establishes and maintains standard scheduling processes through APO/SAP with the correct master-data and standard transactions.

  • Implements, executes, and maintains Master Production Schedule (MPS) polices to ensure stability and responsiveness (lead-times, time fence, frozen zones)

  • Identifies and resolves conflicts with supply and demand and capacity fro the cumulative lead time/MPS horizon.

  • Utilizes “what if” simulations to evaluate proposed MPS changes, determine impact and execute the approved changes effectively.

  • Works with W&L teams to ensure alignment and capability to support and deliver the plans ensuring smooth managing of for example stock counts and local site warehouse capacity requirements.

  • Escalates and communicates to Global Master Planner, DRP and RPLM team any issue which may affect stock availability in advance of the issue occurring wherever possible, to ensure proactive aligned corrective actions.

  • Recommends disposition of non-productive inventory as appropriate

  • Identifies options for optimization of MPS (cost, capacity utilization, inventory, flexibility and customer experience).

  • Participates with manufacturing and/or technology in the structure of material master/BOM’s/recipes.

  • Participates in the SIOP review process.

  • Critical member of the SIOP and DC meetings where they occur.

  • Responsible for the key master production plan metrics, root cause and corrective actions.

  • Maintains valid master-data to support the master scheduling process (eg. Lead times, lot sizes, product wheel and other operating rules and conditions).

  • Support asset scheduling for one product line and provide back up support to regional asset scheduling team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration.

  • 5 – 7 years experience in operations and/or supply chain roles

  • Hands on production planning experience.

  • Knowledge of supply planning theory and inventory management

  • Knowledge of MS Office tools with advanced proficiency in Excel.

  • Excellent business English communication skills (written and oral)

  • Analytical and quantitative skills

  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and react quickly.

  • US based

  • Ability to travel (up to 15%)

Preferred qualifications

  • APIC training/certification

  • Detailed knowledge of SAP, APO and MRP functional operation

  • Six Sigma Certification

  • Food or Food Ingredient experience preferred
