HNTB Document Processor in Mission, Kansas

What We're Looking For

Our Mission KS office is seeking a Document Processor to join the Billing Team.

Responsible for monitoring the HNTB approved invoices inbox and distributing to the appropriate client. Utilizes a variety of delivery methods in order to send the client their invoice and confirms receipt through use of Billing Notes.

Primary Focus Will Include:

  • Accurate submission of invoices to HNTB clients

  • Verification that submitted invoices are also entered in Accounts Receivable

  • Resolution / coordination of client questions

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Understanding of Adobe Professional.

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.

  • Use of other office equipment (phone, copy machine, scanner, etc.)


What You'll Need

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Monitors inbox for project team approved invoices to be submitted to the client. Reviews Job specific Billing Notes to ensure proper delivery method of invoice to the client.

  • Tracks invoices processed through the department via compiling and maintaining invoice tracking mechanism to ensure delivery of the invoice. Retains completed tracking mechanism for future utilization.

  • Creates a PDF of the invoice and delivers to the client for approval. Submits invoice along with received approval to HNTB’s internal records department for firm retention and documentation during department audits.

  • Performs weekly cross check to ensure all invoices submitted to the client (number and amount) match what was booked into the firm’s Financial System.

  • Assists EOCM Billing Clerk and Invoice Processors as needed

  • Performs other duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School/ GED or Equivalent
