Our operation is very diverse. We have a large cattle operation, but we also farm a large amount of dryland crop acres including corn, wheat, sorghum, soybeans and hay. During the winter months, our full-time crew are able to take care of daily livestock requirements, but when spring comes, we have too much workload with tilling, planting , and tending to the different crops we grow. Also, at that time, we are giving cattle their spring vaccinations and taking them to summer pasture. That is why we need help Starting in April (tilling, fertilizing, and planting time) and ending in December (harvest ends). Job duties will include: prepare fields for planting, attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools, operate tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, operate other farm equipment, engage in planting, weeding, spraying and/or harvesting activities, fertilize, dust, and spray crops, spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers, manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery, mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into machinery, observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions, operate equipment to harvest crops, drive pickup trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools, inspect, adjust, and complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment. During the summer employees will need to assist with vaccinating cattle and moving them to pastures. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employers discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employers discretion.

Family housing not available. Housing will be clean and meet applicable Fed, State and local housing standards. Workers must maintain neat and clean housing. Repair cost of damage, other than normal wear and tear will be deducted from the earnings. Housing/utilities are provided at no cost to workers who are unable to return to their place of residence the same day. If both male and female workers are hired: separate toilet, bathing and sleeping rooms will be provided

The employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities and space for food preparation, as well as the necessary equipment, appliances (including refrigeration),cooking accessories, and dish washing facilities (e.g., adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure) that are in working condition and will be used by workers to sufficiently prepare three (3) meals a day. Employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries and/or other incidentals.

Employer is not a H-2ALC. Employees will be provided with an employer owned vehicle to drive to and from work and to town for errands. Daily transportation schedule will coincide with the work schedule outlined on this application, or as agreed upon between employer and employee based on seasonal demands and/or workload. The vehicle provided will be a 2022 Ford F350 truck with a capacity of 2, 2023 Ford F350 truck with a capacity of 2 and a 2024 Ford F350 truck with a capacity of 4.
