Air National Guard Units SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in McConnell AFB, Kansas
Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D1645P01 and is part of the KS 184 Intelligence Wing, McConnell AFB, KS, Kansas Air National Guard. Responsibilities As a SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST GS-0132-12, you will serve as Unit Superintendent and to ensure the operational support services are available for the operations Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) unit. The incumbent assists the commander in oversight of operational events, exercises, training, professional development, resources, and personnel assessments and programs. The incumbent serves as the unit commander's chief advisor on enlisted and technician related issues as they pertain to the unit's intelligence mission. In addition, the incumbent supervises the unit support staff and information technology specialists. The position requires comprehensive knowledge of the unit's infrastructure, intelligence gathering and reporting procedures, and computer systems. The highest level of non-supervisory work supervised is at the GS-11 level. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: E7 through E8 Compatible Military Assignments: 1N0X1 *Must be willing and able to cross train into the compatible AFSC GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training which demonstrates administrative, professional, investigative, or technical work requiring the ability to deal effectively with others, to collect, evaluate and organize pertinent facts. Experience preparing clear and concise written reports. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 36 months experience, education or training developing and recommending policy, organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of intelligence operations. Experience in administrative, investigative, or technical work which required the applicant to deal effectively with others. Experience collecting, evaluating and organizing pertinent facts and to analyze and prepare clear and concise reports. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. Education Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, meets the GS-5 level requirements You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims.
