Steel and Pipe Supply's corporate office is located on Poyntz Avenue near the public library of Manhattan, Kansas. The area is full of restaurants and shops, and is within easy walking distance of the mall. Most employees in the Manhattan office work in an open-plan office surrounded by meeting rooms and private offices. Since many employees have been around for a long time and know each other well, the office has a family-like atmosphere. Kitchenettes equipped with coffee, ice, and free healthy snacks are provided for breaks. Some employees keep food in these kitchenettes for lunch, while others prefer to go to local restaurants.
