This position provides administrative support to HR team members. The human resource coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR team members in supporting designated business groups. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance.
+ Shares responsibility with other team members for responding to questions and troubleshooting issues related to policies and procedures, payroll, benefits, and other HR areas in a timely manner.
+ Processes facility-specific payroll on a bi-weekly basis, including adjustments and labor management data (or acts as back-up). Also, coordinates pay progressions, promotions, transfers, and new hires.
+ Assists in coordinating employee activities (catering and external purchasing) for annual and ad-hoc events, such as Anniversary Awards, holiday meals, etc.
+ Acts as primary support for creating and maintaining employee files both electronically and any applicable paper files to include I-9s and affirmative action files.
+ Assists in the recruitment effort for all personnel, including keeping iCIMS up to date, administering and collecting new hire paperwork, as well as conducting new-employee orientation and onboarding activities.
+ Stays current with MetLife claims and updates Kronos/Time and Attendance accordingly.
+ Help to facilitate communications throughout the facility (i.e., job posting, federal compliance posters, etc.).
+ Stay current with Company processes and procedures, as well as documents and maintains administrative procedures for assigned processes.
+ Assists with processing of personnel actions (i.e., notification for terminations, job transfers, retirements, etc.) with HRIM and other appropriate parties.
+ Ensures that new associates receive proper orientation. Works with various supervisors, managers, on monitoring and continually upgrading on-the-job training, as needed. Assist with associate training activities, such as HbI University, classes, seminars, conferences and schools. Coordinates special meetings of associates and training classes, as requested by management, to ensure that each associate is kept current and informed of organizational issues, including annual Code of Conduct training.

+ Associates Degree (6+ years of HR experience can be substituted for degree)
+ Bachelor's degree in HR preferred, but not required
+ Experience with SuccessFactors, Lawson, and Kronos preferred
