Kansas State University Fellow (Post Doc) - Agronomy in Manhattan, Kansas
About This Role:
The Agronomy Department at Kansas State University is looking for a Fellow (Post Doc) to work on a breeding program to transfer herbicide tolerance into elite sorghum lines. This individual will work closely with the other members of Weed Science team in Manhattan and conduct biochemical and molecular mechanisms of herbicide resistance in sorghum.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Ph.D. in Weed Science with experience in plant breeding, genetics and genomics.
- Experience conducting breeding experiments and analyzing genomics data.
- Experience with field experiments.
- Experience in analysis of large data sets.
- General lab equipment experience.
- Able to work independently with limited supervision.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:
